Aren't you on the NHS?! Mine cost just short of £283 (pre April prices) and I got a crown, a big filling, an extraction and a scale and polish for that.

No chance of getting an NHS dentist around here. I've already spent over £500 on 2 x fillings since Oct. Now one of those teeth had broken so needs a crown (that's the 1k). Plus endless appointments at £45 for the dentist and every 3 months at £69 for the hygienist. It's utterly insane.
