Tunes for a SEXY FRENCH PLAYLIST?

I am loving so much of what's been shared here.

Unfortunately I cannot find the song I wanted to show off. The English version is up on youtube, but I'm saving it for a potential skank themed ASFM.

What a strong opening salvo the playlist on page one has though.

on another note, I really love the band Her - especially the songs Blossom Roses and Union in this playlist.

I was playing them this weekend with a friend who's French and she told me one of the group died. so I was reading up on it and it was the singer, Simon Carpentier, who passed away in 2017 :o I had been wondering why they hadn't released any music in 3 years. the band is (was) just a duo and when they formed apparently Simon already his diagnosis. the album was released after he died but they had already toured it in France and gained a fanbase so there's also several amazing live versions on Spotify.

it's so terribly sad and it's really turned the act of listening to Her into a very bittersweet experience. especially since the music seems to be so focused on the beauty of life, but was written and recorded knowing what was to come :(



such a great song.
