TV Ratings 2020 (1 Viewer)

Very sexy, real man’s man, chockful o’ talent, straight as a die, women want to fuck him, men want to be him. I know I do :(

That awful man on Tipping Point NOT THAT I WATCH IT is one whose popularity and apparent employability I find truly inexplicable

Oh it's triple anything else on ITV2. This is the first winter series, isn't it? I think we'll need to see how the summer one does before drawing any conclusion.

Did either the summer or winter CBBs do better than the other, typically?

I have no issue with him on The Chase.

No, neither do I particularly but I would have no interest watching a tv show with him and his son. I am clearly in the minority when looking at the viewing figures.

Yes, this is the first Winter series of Love Island.

From memory CBB did get better viewing figures throughout one of the seasons over the other, but I can’t remember which way round.

I am liking Whitehouse Farm better with each episode. It was slow burning but it's unravelling well

I can't watch the programme due to my strong dislike of Mark Addy.

Post updated with % change in figures for programmes broadcast at the same time last year. Interestingly only the News has had an increase, and then a very small one. Huge drops for Dancing On Ice and The Voice. EastEnders the biggest loser of the three soaps.

@lolly why is Call The Midwife down 5.6% when the ratings are UP on last weeks figures? Or is it down on last seasons figure?

Forget my last post.

On last year. I thought that was more significant than comparing week to week.

I DID think The Voice figures were looking quite paltry when I mentioned a few weeks ago.

Presumably the DOI drop is due to the lack of the GC this year

Caprice being a cunt offscreen (allegedly) just doesn't cut it!

The GC really was the only reason to watch the show. There’s always been something amiss with the show. But I can’t watch with Barrowman.

Well The GC IS an international superstar compared to these NOBODIES.

I must admit I did used to enjoy the odd Jason Gardiner insult. Now we have bloody Barrowman. :manson:

I do like the year on year percentages, very interesting.

At what point do they pull the plug on DOI again? Have to agree that Barrowman is fucking unbearable. All the shouting and his 'FABULOUS!' is too annoying for words. Craig Revel Horwood he is not.

Call The Midwife is perfect Sunday night telly and those are good numbers for Channel 4 with Deadwater Fell.

It was a bit of a faff doing the % change since the previous year last week, so I think I'll make that an occasional thing only.

Interesting that White House Farm put on half a million week on week. I guess the case still being featured in the press heavily has driven interest.

I have really enjoyed White House Farm after not thinking much of the first episode. It has got better and better as the series has gone on. Final episode on Wednesday.

I have also been dipping in to Cold Feet this season after watching none of it since the comeback. Those figures don’t look too clever though so it may be the last.

Those figures I've just posted are interesting though, particularly for commercial TV. You can see that Cold Feet plays particularly well to ABC1 adults, who very much aren't ITV's traditional audience, I assume. So it does allow advertisers to target those consumers specifically.
