Potentially - but that's working on my estimation of potential device viewing. I can't find that info for shows outside the top 50.

If you compare it to MAFS UK which does have some episodes in the top 50, that adds around 25% to its amount excluding device viewing, and it feels fair to me to assume a similar % for Big Brother, given the genre and likely demographic.

So I'd be cautious of saying it was up on last year, but certainly would say at worst it's broadly very similar, and doesn't seem to be losing viewers year on year.

House Of Guinness got 4.341m viewers for its first episode, but then seemed to drop off quite quickly down to 2.493m by the 4th episode, and the remaining four episodes didn't chart.

Just out of interest, why is the Strictly results show included in the chart in some weeks but left out in others? I take it in the weeks it’s not included, it’s been combined with the Saturday show?

There’s been the usual complaints this year that the results show should be on the Saturday night because of the result being leaked, but there’s no way the BBC would want to move it if it’s getting seven million on a Sunday evening.

No, I always include it separately when it is shown. It's just that for the first two weeks (launch and week one proper), there was no Sunday show. And then that looks odd here as I'm alternating between posting 7 day and 28 day consolidation charts - so the first chart I posted yesterday covered Strictly week 5 did have a result show, whereas the second doesn't as it was week one where there was no result show.

When 28 day data started becoming available again a few weeks back I did wonder if it would cause confusion posting it in the same thread, but decided ro carry on doing so and then thinking about changing it in the 2026 thread, as we're not so far away.

I like doing both 7 and 28 day data so you can see the difference (and separate threads would make comparison less easy), and although 28 day feels more relevant, the info is so old by the time it is posted, it loses what little sense of immediacy there is when I'm posting now what happened in the dying weeks of September.

So I'm open to any ideas of how to present it another way going forward. Although not one which causes too much work as I'll likely get bored then and stop doing it.

I do find it interesting seeing how shows do in that 21 day window. Coronation Street (227k) narrowly besting EastEnders (220k) with Emmerdale on 104k, but they are all relatively low numbers, certainly compared to the dramas. And the new Alan Partridge added very nearly a million as well. Also slightly surprised that HIGNFY as a topical show added over 600k.

I suppose with the soaps, as they are always on, if you haven't watched it in 7 days, you're just falling further behind stacking up more episodes, and perhaps are more likely to just accept you've missed it and pick it back up?
