You have to wonder about the future for The Masked Singer with figures like that after 28 days. That's only about 200k more than Dancing On Ice was getting this time last year.
 
I'm glad to see CORRIEDALE as one programme which it certainly was in terms of for ratings purposes.
 
BARB published a 'what people watched in 2025' report a couple of days ago:

The report explores how people in the UK watched their favourite television shows last year. It covers live and on-demand, linear and streaming viewing for broadcasters, streamers and video-sharing platforms. The findings include:

Live viewing (1) remains a substantial part of viewing, even for younger audiences. In December 2025, viewing live was 45% of total identified viewing on the TV set. Programmes with large live audiences in 2025 included sporting events like the BBC and ITV’s coverage of the Women’s Euros final, entertainment shows such as BBC One’s Celebrity Traitors and comfort TV like Channel 4’s Gogglebox.
On-demand streaming (2), via broadcasters’ VOD services, streamers or video-sharing platforms, accounted for 38% of viewing in 2025. A large proportion of viewing last year on the UK’s three biggest streamers – Amazon Prime Video, Disney+ and Netflix – was to content available for more than 12 months, reflecting the importance of large library catalogues.
The most-used TV navigation platforms (3) in 2025 were Freeview, Sky and smart TV EPGs, with YouTube coming in fourth. Viewers were most likely to turn first to the top ten TV channels* after switching the TV set on, with 37% of viewing sessions starting with one of them. Netflix was the most popular first port of call for young adults, accounting for 26% of TV set switch-ons among 16–34-year-olds, while the same proportion of 4–15-year-old children‘s viewing sessions started with YouTube.
Barb’s independent data show that the TV set has become the most-used device for people to watch YouTube (4) through their domestic WiFi networks. While use of the TV set to watch YouTube is growing among all age groups, viewing is skewed towards children aged 4-15, who accounted for a quarter of YouTube TV-set viewing in 2025 but only one-seventh of the UK population.


The report also features contributors from the BBC, Netflix, Ofcom and media agency the7stars offering insight into how they are interpreting these data to aid their understanding of today’s TV landscape. In addition, Signals in the Noise, a guest essay, makes the case for the importance of trusted research for advertising effectiveness.

Justin Sampson, Chief Executive at Barb, said:

“Commentary about television is too often based on a binary premise that ignores a more complex reality. Barb’s independent evidence points to a world in which viewing is defined more by adaptation than disruption.

“The prognosis is more connected, nuanced and resilient than the clichés and partial viewpoints suggest. Live audiences are healthy, children and young people haven’t deserted linear services, and there’s an increasingly symbiotic relationship between all services and platforms in the TV ecosystem.”

I've separated Corriedale out of the Coronation Street figure where it was included again (as it was in the 7 day chart)as it seems fair - as I posted above I didn't realise originally. The 7 day total which I didn't list individually originally is as mentioned in the tweet above.

Also of note, His & Hers on Netflix got 4.184m for its first episode, but then fell to 3.229m by episode 3, and episodes 4 - 6 didn't chart.
 
That is pretty good for Lynley. I see it aired on BritBox in the US last year and no news on a renewal yet. It is pretty standard procedural fare but there is clearly a market for people who like that kind of show/people who find Leo Suter very attractive.

Patience is a bit of a hit for Channel 4 too. I can't think of much else from them outside of Bake Off and Gogglebox that troubles the ratings charts.

We've watched the four episodes in as many nights. Leo Suter is almost too perfectly handsome in it - he needed at least a bit of stubble and someone to rough his hair up a bit, but I can't imagine ever tiring of seeing that little bit of chest hair poking out through the top button so clearly pulled apart to display it.

I felt all the stories had a hint of Scooby Doo about them in some way, but it was a very pleasant way to spend a few hours.
 
Also the first episode of Lynley had the almost equally lovely Tom Forbes, who has also just been in Red Eye.

I'm quite certain it's a mistake that The Apprentice isn't in the chart. I find it incredibly hard to think it had fewer than 2.378m viewers, given that it had double that last week.

Unfortunately the chart no longer lists the broadcast time (or even day) for individual shows or broadcasts, so I can't tell you which Winter Olympic events charted.

Neither does it list the teams for Six Nations Championship.

It was down about half a million for the launch show, and that drop has increased a little for subsequent episodes.

Still, the new visualised podcast must be cheaper than You're Fired was to make, and the winning team doesn't get a treat from LordSirAlan any more, so that's saved the cost of a corporate away day.
 
Very solid start for Small Prophets.

Lord of the Flies out of the top 20. A bit of a Sunday night drama flop, maybe not a complete surprise, but I do think it was really beautiful to look at with great performances.

Is it recommissioned season to season? I’m not sure how many Alan Sugar can have left in him, and surely it will end with him.
 
That was the episode of Gladiators (in the 7 day chart) that was on much later in the evening wasn't it? Surprised it dropped over a million for it though, after being so solid for the last three weeks. That makes it the lowest audience of the reboot now, Comic Relief Special aside. Hopefully it can pick up again next week.

It was on later again in that week. Clearly it really suffers when moved away from its usual slot, and the audience don't seem inclined to search for it.

Interesting to see The Masked Singer fall out of the top 20 after 28 day consolidation. That series (series 7) was renewed as part of a two year deal with series 6, as were series 4 and 5 before them. I'm curious to see if ITV show the same faith in it again.
 
Now it's been several weeks, it seems that EastEnders and Emmerdale no longer being head to head hasn't made a whole lot of difference to either in terms of ratings, does it?
