Rishi passed away on Monday night/Tuesday morning. There’s a super injunction in place that covers his illness and death so as to protect his family from harrassement.

As far as I understood if it's announced this week then the earliest it can happen is on the same week as Glastonbury Festival. I imagine some tory back benchers think this is a GREAT IDEA

The rumours are 4 July. Parliament will need to sit for about a week before dissolution to get key legislation like the Finance Act passed.
