The DM has gone particularly batshit today with the below headline.

Did Jeremy Corbyn's Marxist henchman Seumas Milne infect Boris Johnson AND Dominic Cummings with coronavirus during Downing Street visit”
Never realised Sir Keir had two articles in this week's Mail on Sunday :basil:

Except the Telegraph is actually blaming someone else entirely with another "it's not the government's fault" headline.

My parents are Telegraph readers and I do wonder if they ever see the headlines from any other paper.

Ah I misunderstood the point of their one then. SHAME.

Fantastic outcome. The damage to relationships with the younger generation is done and they get the results that are in line with the rest of the country.

Good!

Could have done it before the universities filled their boots with private school kids, but they wouldn't be the Tories we know and love if they didn't LEVEL UP inequality.

I particularly love the fact that it was so obvious that we were going to end up here anyway, but their own downright cuntishness and privilege prevented them sorting out something that didn't need to happen. And now they have to deal with the consequence in terms of disenfranchised youth.

Looks like they're going to sacrifice Williamson...which is odd as they've brassed out every fuck-up so far. Cummings must dislike him.

It’s genuinely quite staggering they took THIS LONG to u-turn, even for Torys.

This could have been easily glossed over quickly as a mistake and non-story had they acted within hours. Now an entire generation (and their parents, PLUS teachers) hate their guts more than ever :D

Gavin Williamson to KEEP his job. Just how SHIT do you need to be to get fired from Boris' cabinet?

This is the achievement of the right via Trump and now Boris - not resigning and just carrying on regardless is now the norm.

Yup, he's riding it out.

Honestly, what would it take? Boris could go and slap his cock on the Cenotaph and the Telegraph would write that he's such a patriot that even his individual body parts paid their own tribute to the war dead.

:D Somebody's posted on FB that a blonde gentleman who recently became a father for the ?? time has been fiddling with a 28 year old violinist, the person who gave birth to the most recent child has left him and he's really in hiding but no names can be mentioned as there's a super-injunction.

I'd love it to be true. No idea who they're talking about though.

So Dominic Cummings' father-in-law has been saying that Boris Johnson plans to resign in 6 months time after Brexit has been "delivered" (looool) due to LINGERING CORONAISSUES.

Being hounded out for committing economic suicide DURING a recession isn’t usually something you’d attribute to the Corona.

Yeah I heard this. So few clues to go on, but I’d assume the character and past form of whoever it is means it’s absolutely true.

I assume DOMCUM will be taking the reigns?

Oh God, its going to be Rishi Sunak isn't it? We're never going to oust the Tories

I wouldn't think it will be Rishi yet. They'll need someone who nobody likes anyway to take the blame for the horrible recession before either Rishi or quite possibly Boris again swoops in to save the country about a year before the next election. Step forward Prime Minister Michael Gove.

Ah, but we’d need our annual general election once the new person takes the reigns. Can’t have an unelected bureaucrat as PM.

I think the Tories are fine with unelected bureaucrats when a) it's their unelected bureaucrat, b) they already have advanced plans to knife him anyway and c) they have an 80 seat majority that they can't possibly maintain in an election.

I think Boris leaving could be a disaster- they've realised they need to actually win the next election and that Keir is going to give them a hell of a fight. Getting rid of Boris, which was rumoured for ages to happen once Brexit was achieved, leaves them with someone who is basically incompetent but has been a useful figurehead. They need a popular leader and fast.

Yeah I've seen this. It's all over Twitter. I think after five years of Trump I've been trained not to care.

Oh I saw this and thought it was Tik Tok sensation GORDON RAMSEY :D // :manson:

Call me SLOW!

A few weeks ago, they were saying the sprog was Zac Goldsmith's so who knows?

And the fifth book is:

Exodus by Julie Bertagna: set in a dystopian future in which global warming has caused the oceans to rise and the heroes are dispossessed migrants desperately seeking refuge by boat. Fancy that.

The tories have now lost their lead in the polls for the first time in over a year! :disco:

(Currently tied with Labour at 40%)

Worrying that 40% of the electorate will still vote Conservative even after the clusterfuck that has been the last 8 months.

Imagine the rest of the world :eyes:ing us once again if Boris does resign and someone like fishface Gove steps in. I can’t actually remember the last time someone in this country was elected in a normal election cycle without some sort of special mandate or coming off a full term. What a mess British politics is.
