The fact Carrie, who is quite quiet on social media and doesn't court the press, tweeted about the dog story at the time does suggest she was a bit PISSED about it.

They're right though. I don't think they're saying it's acceptable but the polls show that the Great British Public have a short and limited memory.

Successfull vaccine program is an easy headline that you can digest. Which is why the twat mentions it every 5 minutes and uses it to deflect everything thrown at him.

Reports, cashback scandals, affairs, backhanders are messy. You have to read into it to understand how fucking disgraceful is. "Doesn't affect me, doesn't matter!"
