This is all a bit nothing isn't it?
?!

It's hard to think what more Sue Grey could've said in condemnation given the constraints she was ordered to go under. Also quite something that Boris actively made his position *worse* (with his own party, ergo probably even moreso with the public too) with his response in the Commons today.

I imagine he's likely to win a no confidence vote if one happens, but considering it was looking the last few days like one was out of the question for the foreseeable full stop, it's incredible that he's managed to put it back on the table. The number of Tory MPs standing up to attack him was surprising.

The really key standout thing about the report is that it's identified there was a "gathering" in his flat on November 13th that's under police investigation (the party after Dom Cummings left where they all got trashed and blasted The Winner Takes It All). He's denied that at every step until now.

Honestly, watch the BBC News At Ten tonight if you can (or the Six on now on iPlayer when it's finished). The reporting is about as unambiguous as you can get. This isn't good for him, and this is just from the "relatively thin" Sue Grey update.

And STILL there are red Tories attacking Starmer on Twitter while letting Johnson off the hook. Nothing frightens the Corbynistas more than Labour being ahead in the polls.

Worth noting that Covid aside this is now the biggest current affairs topic on Moopy. I presume today or yesterday it topped the 2020 US Election and Brexit Negotiations .
