UNPOPULAR OPINION - moopy edition

It's less (or actually even more) creepy if we just accept that a certain poster is not channeling, but is actually genuinely the real life Enya, bored in her castle Googling herself.

Albeit it does also mean she's been reading about her afterlife piss parties first hand.

The Enya stuff is strange, but not unexpected for here although I don’t really GET IT. The sexy dogs and Pokémon crap is NOT what I signed up for.

This is what happens when you let straight people loose on a gay chat longe.

You give disadvantaged people an opportunity and they just abuse it.
SEND THEM BACK

Mac and cheese is fucking disgusting and in no way should be a trendy street food

I believe we lost COB so we could have ZenGiraffe, and historically the worst swap since the Lousiana Purchase.

Moopy has gone a bit TOO NICE. I think people should speak their mind more.

Biphobia incident aside, Dannii was NOT fabulous on X Factor and was in fact very rude to poor stupid Konnie Huq.

And I miss Moopyrate, but bringing it back in the age of being kind online to everyone (even VV Brown) would be like one of those long-anticipated reboots that fall flat because everyone is too busy on their phone.

It’s been many dress sizes ago that I encountered a Moopyrate but I don’t think this place has enough evil and vitriol to have a successful resurgence.

I GAVE YOU A 0 BECAUSE YOU ONLY POST 3 TIMES A MONTH AND I FEEL LIKE ONE OF THOSE TIMES WAS ABOUT ME

Just put it in Community and let's HAVE AT IT! :D:disco:

Even if we put aside the bullying aspect, I don't see how Moopyrate would even work any more. We're a much smaller community than we were, and most of us have been interacting for 10-15+ years at this point. I think our feelings towards one another are fairly well set!

The last one was when everyone was over it from the jump and about five people voted and then nobody showed up to the results.

Very X Factor circa Ayda Fields.

I don't know how many we tried subsequently, but that one where Moonbaby randomly came back and did the results to an unbearably hostile reaction definitely had the feeling of a classic series finale. :D

Instead of doing moopyrate where you have to mark everyone and can therefore be cruel, you could do it Eurovision style where you just give points to your faves :disco:

There were actually nine votes, and I received a strong average of 9.00 from a highly respected jury, including three 10s.

It was a bit like winning a Channel 5 series of Big Brother but I have to feed my kids somehow!
