I don't think I could ever bring myself to read an old moopyrate thread. We were all positively FERAL.

I’ve glanced back at some old threads since my return and my God it’s a whole new world.

I still have the chlamydia name in almost all of them which brings back all kinds of horrid memories.

It was nice when people had kind things to say but it wasn't worth it for the fall outs. Which sounds boring but it's true.

I do remember the one very early into Kala's time here when loads of the people who had been perfectly friendly with him suddenly decided to give him 2s and tell him he was overly keen and needed to know his place. GRIM.

The real way to do it was to give some a 04 and THEN go meet them in real life. I think I’ve met over 50+ Moopy members and that feeling of knowing you were walking into pure hostility was such a thrill

Will I be cancelled if I say I'm queer enough to be like give me all the dicks but I can't stand camp? I mean don't get me wrong I'd know anyone here who is camp is bound to be lovely regardless but ugh... the voice, the slight lisp... I CANNOT, even though the SECTIONS OF CAPS literally CHANNEL CAMP and I enjoy that....

Even if we put aside the bullying aspect, I don't see how Moopyrate would even work any more. We're a much smaller community than we were, and most of us have been interacting for 10-15+ years at this point. I think our feelings towards one another are fairly well set!
