Given that the Republicans are likely to retain control the Senate and have gained seats in the House, I imagine they will double down on their absolute evangelical cuntery. Having seen their unwavering commitment to Trumpism over the last 24 hours, I doubt there will be a repudiation even if he loses the presidency.

Interesting that Biden's (STILL UNCLEAR) win in Arizona could have been largely down to Cindy McCain's local Republicans for Biden campaign..!
It could quite possibly have been Trump's feud with McCain that ends up costing him the presidency (amongst, obviously a multitude of other things obv).

To play devils' advocate - some of the networks are claiming that he has stated that counting should stop which isn't quite what he said, is it? Irrespective of the semantics, this is surely just a ploy to illegitimise postal votes.

Quite. This is literally the highest turnout election in living memory. Biden is going to receive the most votes of any presidential candidate ever by some distance. The problem was that Trump's turnout went through the roof too.

A polling error is not one and the same thing as "shy voters" who were concealing their preferences out of shame. The Hispanic voters that have swung big time for Trump were picked up over the course of the campaign. We don't know yet whether it was a polling error from poor sampling, poor demographic turnout projections, or voters concealing their preferences from pollsters.

A polling error is not one and the same thing as "shy voters" who were concealing their preferences out of shame.

A polling error? Girl. The margins by which Trump has won each state, and the slim margins Biden will take the swing states by, demonstrate a clear pattern of the polls either massively underestimating Republican turnout or decided voters deceiving pollsters about their intentions. Literally everywhere. Of course that has happened, just as it was always going to.

The 300,000 votes are from all over the country. As each state has different rules for when votes must be received, it's likely many will be rejected.

The USPS is run by a Trump appointee. It feels like a clear case of voter suppression and there's possibly nothing that can be done about it.
