I hadn't looked at the fine details of Pennsylvania since probably 24 hours ago. I actually think they could very easily call that for Biden now ( more than we can call Arizona to be honest). Almost all of the votes have been counted in the small red areas of the map; and there are still 10% or so to count in many of the blue areas, which are only going to go bluer because of postal voting. (sorry @ZenGiraffe - I guess I'm agreeing with you now. :D )

Yeah, the trend lines in all states except North Carolina are going in Biden's favour (which means I was bang on with my Electoral vote number prediction if it carries through). Whilst not absolutely impossible for Trump to win, it is so improbable that waiting to call is a formality at this point.

Biden totally has PA. About 450k votes still to count and a 65k margin. It's all but over.
 
I'll be SO happy if he gets PA after not getting Florida and Ohio. I know he can still win without it but it'll be a more resounding win and it's a significant political state.
 
Betting odds are now virtual locks for all states, with the exception of Arizona.

Democrats: Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada
Republicans: N. Carolina, Alaska (obvs - why the fuck are they not calling this one - it should have been called instantly like they called California and others...)
Could still go either way: Arizona
 
Of course for those who haven't realised yet PA will take Biden over the line even without Arizona.
 
Georgia being 3.5k apart with 20k votes (approx) left to count is nuts. Biden needs 13.5k votes.
 
I was going to say it yesterday but it was still unclear then, but going forward it's very encouraging how many states have gone from safe red to lean red in recent years. Not sure whether it's Trump or demographics or a shift in generations or a combination of all 3, but I can't think of any safe blue states that have weakened, so even though we're in a mess now maybe by 2028 it'll be much harder for these populist movements to gain traction if states like Texas, NC, Georgia and Arizona are now in play.

I mean who knows right. But small mercies.
 
Reminder that while Pennsylvania is the one that takes Biden to the magic 270, Trump has no path to victory without Georgia.

Either flips tonight, and we get a call.

Georgia has been my main hope ever since the first big Biden swing over the summer showed Georgia as possible.

Huh? I don't understand your point. I'm just saying, it's great that it crosses the line for all the channels at the same time and isn't just a Fox call it while BBC hold back. They'll all be able to do it together hopefully.
