I don’t get this as this surely you can just call it whatever you want anyway - nobody owns it one you’re outside territorial waters. Like how we call the English Channel well, the English Channel, and France calls it The Sleeve :eyes:

The whole thing seems more legitimate this time, or people seem much more willing to be openly supportive. Grim.
 
It was pretty well known that if he was to be reelected Trump would command a lot more pull than he did in his first term. Being reelected after a loss is pretty astounding for either party. The Democrats ignoring the border is what sustained his career and handed him all the legitimacy he needed. Regardless of all the cringey celeb endorsements. In fact, this last election has really showcased how completely fangless celeb endorsements have turned out to be. All that flexing from Beyonce and Taylor Swift (and Katy Perry) amounted to little more than fluff.

Regardless, swinging between Liberal and Conservative is very normal - not just politically in the short-term but also socially int the long-term. It's more so how extreme the swings are that's concerning. The Democrats will definitely find a better candidate by 2028.
