Suranne Jones marches all over a submarine being a super detective, ignoring various dreadful men trying to get in her way. Somewhat estranged love interest and colleague Rose Leslie is left on shore to look after the cat and upset navy top brass.

Two episodes of six in and this is very good.

Loving it so far, the twist after the first 10 minutes would have made Jed Mercurio proud.

Just watching last night's episode now. I must be too used to binge watching dramas, as I've completely forgotten what happened last week.

It might have been my mood but I wasn't quite as gripped by the episode this week. The reveal at the end of the episode was over telegraphed too.

Did anyone enjoy season 2? I only watched 1 episode and wasn't really sucked in. Think I just loved the submarine setting now missing from the first series.

To be honest I don't remember much about series 2 at all. Which probably isn't a good sign. But Suranne is a good enough reason for me to at least start the third.

Yeah I think that's my feeling too: Suranne being that good of a draw.

Looking forward to this as I loved S1 and S2 although I need to watch or read a recap before starting the new season as it feels like a lifetime ago.

After the first two episodes I really think it is time for Suranne to be shipped up to the Arctic. The remote working has run its course.
