I’ve been up for HOURS (well 1 hour) I’ve had 2 coffees, showered, got dressed and still have another 20 minutes to kill before setting off to work, and that’s if I want to arrive on time, WHICH I DON’T.

I'm mixing it up a bit by walking in another direction and getting a DIFFERENT BUS :o

Exciting times

Maybe it’s because you didn’t win the war as hard we did. Either way I’m sorry for you guys :(

Some SHOWER has set up a recurring stand up Teams meeting at 8.30am every morning in my diary. NOT IMPRESSED.

we don't have anymore public holidays (except Christmas) :(

April-May is a cornucopia though. ROLL ON 2021

I’m off the fags, YES AGAIN, and currently boiling over with rage and CHOPPING people in real life.

@Zu-Klara what’s going on with the Queen Adelaide, I just walked past is it open for BREAKFAST?

Yes, hostesses Suzii and Amanda are now dishing up a delectable déjeuner of egg, bacon and sausage in a polystyrene box to HELP SALES

AKA I don't actually know

It really does look VILE. I‘m all for novelty tat - see my recently purchased MULTI-COLOUR OWL NIGHT LIGHT for evidence - but it looks like a child‘s playroom or nursery. Bet they‘re REALLY WACKY :zombie:

A work deadline has been extended and I‘ve a sudden taste for Crémant. Mentioning this here for guaranteed encouragement obviously

Oooh they've announced our new senior manager, suddenly the meeting is worth paying attention to again. :eyes:

Not that we didn't love our dear old JULIE.

Armistice Day? Some people will probably do a two minute silence at 11am, but generally it's observed on the Sunday closest. It's not a holiday like a bank holiday.
It's a holiday in Canada but they hardly need an excuse for a buckshee day off. They actually give their banks Bank Holidays too.

I have a blood test in a bit, I fully expect them to tell me I’m dying or something.

Not all provinces, it’s a normal working day in Ontario.
