I'll take three please

Oh, I've long hit the stage of checking my work schedule before a gig and making a decision as to whether or not I need a late start or the day off. Or maybe, just being too old for the damn thing in the first place... :shy:

Was in a bit of a grump all day, possibly my headache, possibly the phases of the moon, possibly Marvel TV series never justifying their runtimes

But today the scary intense anti-vaxxer took early retirement suddenly :eyes: and it’s his last day :o

PRAISE BE

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to watch THAT Agnes perf to give me enough energy for the last 3 hours

The breaking local news is that our MARKS AND SPENCER is closing!

Chop of a foot while you're at it, you bastards.

The nearest one to my work is closing as well. Saw it coming; it's always empty these days. Wasn't pre-Covid so it's the rise in home working that's done this.

To be fair they're moving it to the enormous out of town retail park, but STILL.

As you can imagine the town is in UPROAR.

Good Morning. I am packing to head back home for a few days on Friday with the kids. I am trying to get back at least once a month just for a few days before the BIG MOVE. Strange how Al of a sudden a woman of 48 suddenly needs her Mother again. She should really be leaning on me.

I have a flight to catch in the morning and a todo list longer than that walmart cock

Manchester but will be US bound tomorrow, providing I can fight my way through the dystopian nightmare that is MAN

Have you got the fast track security @big ron? I used it when I flew from Manchester to Guernsey a couple of weeks ago and it was well worth the extra fiver, for all that I resent paying them to do something that they should be doing properly anyway.

What surrounds your ribs on the right? I took a tumble in the garden on Saturday hiding Easter eggs for the kids and fell back and got up pretty much unscathed but with a pain in my side. The pain has got worse each day, but I am still plodding along. I don’t know if I have bruised my ribs, or broke a rib or if it is something else? I can’t be bothered with the faff of the doctor. Whatever it is will likely heal itself, right? I have no bruising.

Tried to book it but they're sold out. I'm assuming that means all the cunts will be stuck in that queue and we'll waltz through.

From what I've read, they've sort of sorted the bag check issues, now the problem is people turning up 5 hours before check-in opens, and the departures hall being full of gormless people with nowhere to go!

More likely to be a rib than anything else, and they'll do fuck all for it. Dr Ron prescribes wine and ketamine for 3 weeks in the hope it goes away. Works for me.

Where in the us are you going?

Doing the family thing in Orlando then Vegas to be a scumbag without the family. Wanted to do more and go to California and New York but I think I'm going to come back towards the end of the weed growing season for Cali (for work purposes obvs) and then back via NY. If I don't commit a felony next week.

I flew through Manchester airport on Friday @big ron

Turned up 4 hours early and got through security in about 15 minutes. Then my plane was 45 minutes late, so that was four full hours just to get smashed in the pub.

Are airport prices still absolutely hideous for beer, food etc?

The price of water bottles in airports is criminal

Ours closed in January. We still have a couple on retail parks, and a few more food stores only, but no M&S in central Bristol. It doesn't feel at all right, even if I only used it to pick up something nice for tea on the way home.

There’s a new billboard for GB NEWS on HOMERTON HIGH ST!

Could there be an area any LESS demographically suited for that advert?

Even though check-in opens at 7am this is what I'm aiming for.
