I’m sure she’s vile but I’m also allergic to this kind of mob lynching on twitter or the likes.

For a second I thought you were totally shading GagaDid anyone see her interview with that woman who sang ‘Shallow’

Ellen's net worth is $490million as of this year. I sure feel awful about some people being mean about her on twitter![]()
Possessed by a demon I’m afraid.I suggest exorcism.
Lest we forget that she ALSO shaded ASMR Maria who as we all know is one of the sweetest, kindest OCD freaks to ever grace this planet. Evil WITCH!They should, but I feel that such an insane level of wealth and privilege also leads to a person no longer treating their fellow humans with respect as has apparently happened with Ellen here. Her wealth and power also insulates her from any real criticism - people having a bit of a venting session on Twitter isn't going to change anything for her, in any way. I feel like I probably agree with your point in most cases, as I hate pile-ons and cancelling of people who don't have any power, but Ellen has all the power. She could BUY Twitter if she wanted!Yes, because rich people aren’t human and shouldn’t be treated like others.
Oh we all know it’s probably MONOPOLY moneyDid anyone see her interview with that woman who sang ‘Shallow’ (rather fabulously I might add) in a tube station as part of that Finish The Lyrics thing? Vile Ellen gave her £10K in cash at the end of the interview as if she were some sort of dead loss charity case or special needs because she likes to “help people like you.” Condescending CUNT!

Yes, because rich people aren’t human and shouldn’t be treated like others.
I am hardly a huge fan of her, but I agree in that this pile on is NOT a good look either.
*lights pitchfork*Usually I would agree but in this case I’m of the opinion that without the pile-on, she simply wouldn’t be held accountable. A few tweets would come and go and she’d get away with it. She may still, but I’d like this to be the beginning of the endI am hardly a huge fan of her, but I agree in that this pile on is NOT a good look either.

I’m amused by the notion of just getting someone else with the same name to host it instead. SIGNED!

This is such an important point, I think. There's a world of difference between a pile-on of someone making minimum wage who once said something iffy online, and pointing out shitty behaviour of someone who (to paraphrase Ab Fab) could order China as a takeaway. If Ellen really doesn't like that people are tweeting mean things about her, she is in the very rare position to actually be able to do something about it (whether that's contacting the CEO of the website said comments are hosted on, or putting pressure on legislators to crack down on certain types of online communication, or any number of other options). Most people can't do that!Usually I would agree but in this case I’m of the opinion that without the pile-on, she simply wouldn’t be held accountable.
