Morning. Took the day off because I have 5 or 6 days to take before the end of the month and I need a bit of time to redo my CV so I can apply to another department.
 
I was supposed to work a shift this morning through the hospitality temp agency I'm earning extra money through. I turned up at 8am, but there'd been a cock up and I wasn't needed, but will get paid for 4 hours regardless.

And now just picked up 5pm-8pm today and 8.45am-12.45pm tomorrow as overtime paid at double time in my regular job. It couldn't have worked out better!

We've just employed a new member of staff from the vets I worked at. I met up with a couple of the team who are still there and they're pleased we're taking this girl cos she's a nightmare. I was not aware of this :( I hate employing people.

I’ve won three lots of £25 on the Premium Bonds.

This has perked me RIGHT UP, even though I’ll be unemployed and ON THE BREADLINE shortly
 
To finish off my shower every morning, I turn the water to freezing cold and say out loud five things I am grateful for.
