Wednesday regards an eel (1 Viewer)

Nah, BA are great, particularly long haul. Short haul, less so, admittedly, but overall it’s generally a good experience and I’ve flown with them a lot lately.

I will also never forget the way they treated me when a very close friend died, I needed to reschedule a flight to get home from Sweden to be with everyone else, SweAir tried to charge me £500 to change to an earlier flight, “unless you can provide a death certificate today” (literally the day of death and we weren’t related anyway), whereas I rebooked with BA for £75, then cried at check in cause they only had centre seats and that freaks me out so they put me in their staff row thingy up the back, checked on me constantly and basically assigned me a lovely old gay who kept trying to feed me and give me whatever booze I needed, despite it not being included, ushered me off the flight first and made me feel very, very well treated. Just lovely all round at what was a terrible time and I even wrote to BA to thank them.

Also once refused a Daily Mail on BA back from New York and joked and camped it up with the air hostess about why and she subsequently upgraded us to premium economy and smuggled us better champagne from first class. WHAT A WOMAN.

I know Ryanair are upfront about being basic as fuck but adopting a meme as a business strategy isn't good. Every time I have to fly with them I say never again until the next inevitable 6am only option.

I haven’t flown with Ryanair in fives years. And even that was for work AND the only available option. Avoid at all costs, absolute garbage.
