I kept wondering yesterday why my Southern UK based work colleagues asked if I was managing to stay cool in the heat yesterday.

Turns out we've swapped weather. Yesterday was 25c here. Today it's 33c.

It very much feels like we're due a thunderstorm here. It's a lot cooler than yesterday but the air is so heavy.

No rain forecast though, unfortunately. I do like a walk home in a summer shower.

We had a massive storm a couple of hours ago. It was delightful. Totally against forecast, though, and I'm rather pleased we decided to save our beach BBQ for tomorrow.
