Well, everything else is "teased" these days...

Hello. Engineer has a few things to finish up, then he shows me the controls (it's an app, of course it's an app, everything is a flippin' app) and then it's DONE and I get to go to work. Yay, or something.
 
Is anyone else having problems with Amazon prime no longer offering next day delivery 🤔 doesn't matter what I order, it's 1-2 weeks delivery time.

You're not ordering from Amazon itself then, it's someone listing on Amazon but doing delivery themselves.

It's every item I search for tho, and items I've previously ordered that have had next day delivery, now showing as a week.

I think this is the issue because other islanders are having the same problem. I assume Moopy posters can order for next day? It doesn't come up as an option for me.

But I've always used Amazon and always had next day delivery. I don't get what's changed.

I've actually had the opposite problem. They keep saying stuff for my new office is coming on X date, like in a week or so, and then it turns up two days later when I'm nowhere near and no one has any idea how to deal with three desks, office chairs and a TOILET BRUSH.

I didn't bother. I love her, but I feel I've seen her so many times I can't be bothered going to Brighton or Bournemouth...
 
I possibly wouldn't if she wasn't here. Perhaps I'd have gone as far as Cardiff.

But experience has taught me no matter how much I like her, she's an utter joy as a live act, so it was a no brainer.

Moopy I need adult advice.

Mandy and I have had our mortgage with Nationwide for 12 years. We're looking to move. We will sell our property and should have a £100k deposit once we sell.

Do we need to go to a mortgage advisor for a new mortgage or can we just go online with nationwide and get a mortgage in principle and go from there 🤔
 
I'm lucky, I've got a mate who does ours for free, but seriously, unless that's something you know lots about (and I really don't), it's worth its money, presuming you find a good one.

Ok, and do they charge from the first meeting?

We aren't ready to look at moving until next spring but we want to know what we can borrow, we've done an online thing but wondering if we should see an advisor first? Then next year properly look.
 
We had a friend as well, back in the day.

But yes, it isn't something I'd personally take on.
 
My friends are all vets or dentists. I need new friends.

I've never paid for mine, but I presume it's some kind of fixed fee for finding you a mortgage and presenting the options. They get paid two ways, I think- from the lender as commission and from the person looking for the mortgage, so be aware of that.

Ours did wonders on our last mortgage. Like lolly says, I wouldn't be without one at all.
 
Mortgage advisors get a commission from the lender right, sure mine did anyway?
 
OT: Talking of Amazon, how are Moopy funds doing lately? I've ordered so much stuff for this office, which has to have helped. And I'm only just getting STARTED :disco:
 
Due to being a bit anxy and having people working in the kitchen, I haven't eaten much in the last couple of days and I am now so hungry, I could eat a farmer's arse poking through a hedge.
