I've just been reading the Michael Jackson thread - my memory told me it went on a lot longer before the news filtered through that he had actually died. 2nd page. Huh.
 
ooh I'm just over 100 posts away from the big 5-0 (thousand).

Maybe i'll go on a posting spree and top POTW at the same time.
 
I think I've just been headhunted and I'm not entirely sure how to cope with it...

I'm having a day off the booze for the same reason (and also because I'm donating blood later). I've just been for lunch with Mr Kate and his mum. I was in the loo when the drinks arrived and Mr Kate sent back my Diet Coke because he assumed they had misheard. Oh dear...

Yes. I started a thread yesterday called ‘Where are they now’and was asking of your whereabouts, so it’s lovely to know you are doing well. I am grand thank you darling, recently had an op on my back so just willing my body to recover as quickly as possible.

I got a discectomy a week yesterday, as I had unbearable pain in my back that would not subside. I should be back driving in the next few weeks, and hopefully be back in my Louboutins by the end of July. Such beautiful weather here and I can’t even wear my favourite wedges :(.

Most of the older posters are still here, but it is always lovely for an old friend to check in.

Apart from the huuuge upsurge in transphobia from the mainstream media, it's all been fine, yeah.
