MORNING LOVES!

So far, I've spent a good hour writing a Business Development Manager job description this morning.

Anyone want a job? IMAGINE! First thing I'd do is monitor your internet usage and block Moopy... :D

I'm the 90s grainy film and washed out colour processing

Can you share it with me, I need one of those :D

Acutely aware that BDM is just a modern version of SALES CUNT and that I'm going to have to work closely with one soon. Ergh.

On the train going UP LONDON

The last three times I've been up have all been for that Voyage thing, so I am very much looking forward to just lolloping around on my own for the day doing whatever I fancy.

Oh sure! I've got a few knocking about that I've done in previous roles, so it's just an amalgamation of all those/ stolen from current Indeed ads in the same industry.

Thing is, I have spent the last week pushing paper around rather than having the nerve to actually do some sales. I love the marketing side of it (I think I'm fairly good at writing copy, for example), but fuck off am I picking up the phone/ sending someone a LinkedIn message. The whole thing makes me cringe. Which is where the SALES CUNT comes in.

I love a London day like that! The best kind of day!

Actually, a question. I'm writing a diversity statement for the job ad. Is saying "no discrimination blah blah blah based on gender or gender identity" a bad thing or good thing? I want to reinforce it but is separating "gender identity" from "gender" a bad thing?

The sun is out for you :disco:

How about

"no discrimination blah blah blah based on gender including gender identity"

Oh good. It's out at home as well and I was worried I'd be travelling into rain.

I'm going to the Lisson gallery in Paddington where an exhibition by a sculptor I like has entirely coincidentally opened today, then walk through to Marylebone and Fitzrovia where I plan to have a late lunch, wander down to Soho, and back through Mayfair to Hyde Park and then Paddington again. If the weather is good, I'll try to do it all on foot via back street wandering largely. I'll probably be quite knackered after all that, but I can sleep on the train :D

I went out last night but was good and went to bed at 3 whilst my housemates were sat doing coke

I've just been for a patch test to get my eyebrows powdered/microbladed/something.

I also popped into the vets where I worked to collect food for heathcliff, and now appear to be going to their Christmas party :disco:

They are considered separate on the list of protected characteristics.

age
gender reassignment
being married or in a civil partnership
being pregnant or on maternity leave
disability
race including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin
religion or belief
sex
sexual orientation

Thank you! But I reckon that's actually not good enough- you don't need to have reassigned in my eyes...

Based on that list I would word it as "based on sex or gender identity" as splitting into "gender or gender identity" feels redundant.

Yeah this is it, neither of us like doing sales outside of getting pissed with people at awards shows and feeding them mushrooms, so we need a cunt to do it, and fast.

Currently sitting in a cafe on Edgware Rd. It's EVER SO glamorous.

How many more months of dark nights and rain do we have :(

I will never get used to it being dark. EVERY YEAR I am SOMEHOW surprised by the seasons. I don't know whether it's because I'm working in an office again, but it suddenly seems dark a lot earlier than it has done in RECENT years :D

I’ve been at a conference in North Carolina for 3 days and I’ve never wanted to go home more

I was dark at 3:45pm here today.

Grim. Dark when I get to work at 7:30am; dark when I leave at 5.30pm. Urgh.
