Weekend plans

It is the weekend before Christmas and I would love to know what exciting plans you all have on the go?

I am poorly, so I have cancelled all plans and am resting up until Monday when hopefully I can join in the festivities.
 
Not sure tomorrow. Mr L is off to Wales to visit his cousins, so I ought to take advantage of the time at home to finish wrapping his presents. I may also see friend's new flat if I get around to it.

Sunday I'll be seeing my mother, and then off to the theatre to see a sci-fi/drag/comedy romp in the evening.
 
aunt is visiting tomorrow (zzz) and then boat for Oslo on Sunday. so NOT VERY MUCH
 
I don't actually have ANY plans as yet. Apart from watching Albania select their Eurovision entry on Sunday. It's my birthday on Monday and I think Mr K is taking me out for dinner. Tomorrow I think is a quiet day.
 
I'm still not ALL SET FOR CHRISTMAS, so more aimless wandering and not having a clue what to get people :(

And boozing the night away of course.
 
Yeah, it's the only time of year where it's not questionable to drink more than 2 days in a row! :D
 
I'll be Christmas shopping for prezzies for mostly everybody (pray for me) and thinking about getting the tree and decorations out of the spare room. I'm never normally in the Christmas spirit but this year I just want the whole damn thing over and done with.

It will no doubt be mayhem this weekend around towns and cities. Do you always put the decs up so late? How long do you keep them up for?
 
Gig and an indie club tomorrow. Sunday fuck all except packing for the following 4 nights at my mum’s.

It's usually mid-December and up until last Sunday I'd decided not to bother this year but then I invited the spawn for Christmas dinner so thought I'd better make half an effort. I usually take them down on new years day or 2nd January.
 
Nothing apart from some much needed tidying-up. Winter Solstice is at about 4.19 tomorrow morning so I won't even be awake for that.
 
We're quite smug in having done the vast majority of shopping and have just been swanning about the luxury food shops and German market. If today doesn't end in booze I'll be shocked to my core.
 
God I fucking hate German markets. The same old fucking tat year after year blocking up city centres.
 
Our German market this year is PROPERLY shit. We walked into town so I could pick up some VITAMINS and thought we’d have a look but the absolute horror of the clientele was enough to turn back again.

Biggest con going. Over priced low quality beer out of a plastic cup you have to pay for to drink in the cold while people stand on your shoes.
 
I quite like the one here, I must say. Stalls focused on local and regional produce & the beer tent is in a big teepee with a log fire.
 
I'm as good as done with the shopping and enjoying a white hot chocolate and mince pie in Thornton's cafe.

Ive basically bought absolute shite for folk this year

I really shouldn’t have bothered :D
