Yeah, there had been speculation to that end. Dreadful band. At least they're not dragging Peter Gabriel out with them, that would be just horrendous.

Oasis reforming would be the greatest thing to happen. 3 days of reunion gigs in Manchester on the only sunny weekend of the year. I'd just move into the city center and shout madferit for 72 hours solid.

I'm feeling emotional today. And for some reason I've had a semi for most of the morning.

I can only think of Collins and Spector at the moment. And thankfully that did kill my semi.
 
In conclusion, female Phils are much better than male ones.
 
My dad's birthday today so me, my mum and two aunties all met up at the home with cards and cakes and prezzies. Because it was his birthday they'd given him a shower this morning and the hairdresser had trimmed his hair and beard so that put him in a bad mood and he'd refused his medication, drinks and breakfast. By the time we arrived at half past eleven he was on top form insulting sweariness, we stopped giving him the cards to open because he was just chucking them at people. One of the carers came over for some cake and he told her "you've had enough cake you fecking fat bitch!".

So yeah, that was fun.
 
I've been in such a lull the last few days. Not left the house since Sunday. Been sleeping over 12 hours each day. Managed a broad outline of an essay I should be shitting out.

I need some glorious sunshine.

Is your Dad in a nursing home now Floppet? Just when you mentioned carers, rather than nurses. Poor guy must be in such a muddle with what is going on in his head. :(
 
So today's follow up doctor appointment has got me a referral to the stomach operation doctor man (YAY!) and an examination of the horrible lump on my foot means I have to go and get it tested for cancer, and though the SLY BITCH didn't tell me, she wrote "nodular melanoma?" on the form to the hospital which, according to Google, is the most aggressive and dangerous form of skin cancer you can get.

IT DOESN'T RAIN, LOVES... :D
 
Sorry to hear about your Dad, @Floppet but I suggest you look on the bright side and write a sitcom about it

Me too. I have been wondering for a while if it might be, though- it's a very strange beast!

Ah well, I'm refusing to worry about it until anything happens. Typical that all this is when I'm not really drinking, not smoking, have given up meat completely and am my fittest in years :D
