What’s in your fridge?

That's true. I don't have a family that constantly opens the fridge so I'm fine. Also eggs don't last much in my fridge as I used them a lot. I could store them outside, but I have a large fridge so I have more space inside.

My M&S Softer Butter doesn't appear to have any weird shit in anyway. They claim it's CHURNED in some sort of SPESHUL WAY

I've got one of those small glass dishes. When I buy butter, I chop it into about thirds and keep one at room temperature in the dish, and refrigerate the rest.
 
Yeah we're talking about very different weather, you're very lucky. I can only imagine leaving butter outside and not being completely melted in a matter of minutes during the summer.

But it's a treat and not a regular purchase. Most of the time ESSENTIAL WAITROSE will do JUST FINE.

No, we don't have fresh milk here. I mean, you can find it in some supermarkets, but everyone buys pasteurized (?) milk, the one in the bricks that lasts 3 months or so. Obviously I keep it in the fridge whe it's open, it lasts one week or so. I've been starting to buy fresh milk to make rice pudding or recipes that I want with some more milk flavour.

What we call long life/ UHT. It’s more popular in Europe than it is here.

All our milk is pasteurised too but “fresh milk” as it’s known. And lasts a lot less.

Yeah you're right, they're all pasteurised, I couldn't find the right word, thanks. UHT, that's it.

When I was a kid the milkman used to deliver it daily to my granny, straight from the cow. We had to boil it before we could have it. That definitely wasn't pasteurised.

Fray Bentos don't go in the FRIDGE! Unless they're opened I suppose. But how would you cook HALF OF ONE
