We have them here too, they seem to be a feature at petrol stations for some reason

Mercifully I had a new washing machine delivered in the end so last year's launderette days are over but the dryers in London (and probably elsewhere in the UK) are a total rip off and either aren't hot enough or are too hot. I swear I saw FLAMES at the back of one I was using
