What are you doing for New Year’s Eve?

Was supposed to be in Manchester at a friend’s house but i’m a victim of TRAVEL CHAOS. It was possible to get there if willing to endure 6+ hours of buses and trains - became a question of whether it was worth it. So i’m seeing my friend who usually lives in Spain and her fiance instead. Her maw is having a party!

my bestie moved to a new place YESTERDAY and is hosting TONIGHT. it's been a full day of prep but the place is beaut and I think tonight will be a whole give.

also I made this pre midnight playlist that slaperoos.

Hopefully sex

A friend is having some people round, so we're going there. I don't usually bother with NYE anywhere other than home, but this is very walkable so there'll be no hassle getting home :disco:

I had the same idea except NONE of them are accepting orders.:tableflip:

I've put my order in for 7pm.

I'm also treating myself to chicken wings as I've not had any meat ALL CHRISTMAS

I really fancy some DRUGS but the best I've got in the house after we demolished the leftover coke on Christmas Day is a couple of COCADAMOL

Admittedly, might be quite nice with a bit of fizz, but...

Bread
Meat
Cheese
Wine
Port
Heathcliff
Mandy
Any cheesy music I can find on TV
Monopoly
In bed by 10pm, woken at midnight by fireworks, back to sleep.

I've been wined and dined at a lovely little Greek restaurant here we hadn't been to before. I was planning on finishing a bottle of sherry, but Mr L has reminded me I've got a bottle of Kylie prosecco rosé left, so this seems as good a time as any for it.

sitting at home with David drinking champagne listening to Tove and I wouldn’t want it any other way

I've just lost at Monopoly and I couldn't hate Mandy more at the moment 🤬

I've just eaten half a tube of prawn cocktail Pringles and feel sick

Watched the terrible Wonder Woman movie and thoroughly enjoyed just having somebody sat with me that I could make sarcastic comments about the plot, or lack thereof, to. And now I'm off upstairs to watch telly in bed.

Mr L is subjecting me to Mike Read's Heritage Chart Show, which is on some Godforsaken channel in the upper reaches of Freeview. I've meant to post about it here before.

It's compellingly awful on every level.

We started watching That's my jam on BBC1, I honestly do not understand what's meant to be going on in it.

So we've turned over to ITV and they've said "still to come, Westlife" and now I feel I can't go to sleep until I've seen them :(
