What are you doing for New Year’s Eve?

Apparently nearly 20% of population has Covid here. Considering the number of bus journeys I've made over the last three days, statistically I must be fucked.

We started watching That's my jam on BBC1, I honestly do not understand what's meant to be going on in it.

So we've turned over to ITV and they've said "still to come, Westlife" and now I feel I can't go to sleep until I've seen them :(
Mr L recorded a Westlife live concert on TV about a month or so ago.

I think Mark is an utterly appalling vocalist. Not a bad show though.

I'm still wearing a mask at work even though we don't have to and most others aren't. I just feel it has helped to keep me healthier overall *touches wood*

I'm glad you think that, because Westlife fans absolutely love him and I don't get it at all. I can't stand how he warbles and changes all the songs.

Whereas Shane sounds amazing. I think it must be the Wembley show he recorded, Mandy and I were at that one.

That's exactly it. Everything was sung as if it was an ad lib, total and utter showboating. It doesn't help that I don't particularly like his voice anyway, but live he's utterly excruciating.

Fans absolutely love him. I think I'm in the minority. He was good on the Masked Singer I thought. But live, with Westlife, I really dislike him. He's been very poorly the last few weeks so the other 3 have carried on at concerts without him and they've been amazing! It's meant Kian and Nicky actually get to sing.

We've had one ridiculously loud firework so far. It terrified heathcliff :(

We've had them for a few hours here. The cats don't take any notice, unless they are visible out the window and then they will happily watch them.

I wish heathcliff wasn't bothered. I'm certain stress can't be good for his diabetes.

Ooooh Westlife should be on in 10 minutes, then I can go to bed!

The telly is dogshit. I'll be considering the HOOTENANY at this rate.

I'm not sure I can cope with this Sam Ryder business
I'm watching him. I think he's very likeable, and I've liked him since lockdown so I have to continue my like.

But he's no Westlife.

I think this is the first I've seen him perform beyond Space Man. He's a good performer.

We had a comedy thing in Scotland that was OK-ish. I;ve switched to the Hootenany.

I’m watching Jools Holland with the family. Fortunately, there’s drink.

This is a very good gig for him. That his album isn't sinking is a good sign for his potential future career. My mum was absolutely thrilled to get his album for Xmas, which tells me exactly what I needed to know about his fanbase.

Mr L is staying up through some feeling of duty. I wish I'd told him to go to bed at 10pm so I could watch World's Strongest Man on my own.

I liked his Queen covers. I'm a big Adam Lambert fan, but Sam Ryder is very very good.
