Yes the premise felt ridiculous and not in a good way. I think I'm a bit bored of Martin Compston too.

Maybe I was hasty but I'm trying to be more brutal in dumping tv series. I've definitely been overly patient with some of these itv dramas in the past and I have a Netflix list that just gets longer.

Ooooh good! That was incredible. I loved ALISON STEADMAN and PETER DAVISON in it. And that woman with the short blond hair whose name I can’t remember.
 
I was thinking of Life the other day, after hearing a podcast with Alison Steadmean, but couldn't remember what it was called.

Just googled now and can't see anything about a series two at all - either saying it has been recommissioned or cancelled.

Oh? I may have got confused with another series, but was pretty sure I read something about the series being renewed until I read your post. SORRY NANCE.
 
I am googling profusely now too to try and find the article I read. I must have confused it with something else?

OK, so after a fair to middling first episode Our House was FANTASTIC.
 
I am also really looking forward to the new drama about THE CANOE CONMAN and his long suffering wife. Those 2 chancers always fascinated me.

I’ve always thought that it’s lucky he had life insurance otherwise their plan wouldn’t have worked.

Is The Voice not usually on in January? I see it was commissioned for a new series but I don’t think it is setting ratings alight these days either.

The new series has been recorded and I believe it will be on Saturday nights alongside Britain’s Got Talent.
 
I finished This Is Going to Hurt. The last three episodes are especially fantastic though I spoiled a very :( development by watching Gogglebox. I assumed it would be a single series but with how it ended it felt they could be tempted to do more.

Also Harry is very lovely.
 
I'm currently working my way through all the old seasons of Britain's Next Top Model on BritBox. Currently on S5.

And I noticed a couple of days ago that Luxe Listings Sydney S2 is on Prime, so started watching that last night.

I didn’t properly understand everything that was going on in ‘Allo ‘Allo when I was young and all its nuances.

Watching it now, I can see how cleverly written and performed it is. And how funny too!
