What Are You Watching? 2024 (3 Viewers)

I liked my one episode of Savage Beauty, but I'm going onto The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, season 2 as I've seen the first.

I quite like Sewing Bee ripoff and hour long M&S advert “M&S: Dress The Nation”

I've just started this. Why couldn't you manage it?

I watched the wrong one. My sister clarified that it's called Monster (I had watched some documentary and wasn't interested in the boyband stuff). Anyway, back to Aussie Married At First Sight for me :disco:

Ah ok, yeah I can't do documentaries. I'm loving the drama on Netflix tho.

Wait, not a new Mafs??

There is a new UK one on right now. I'm just bingeing the Aussie one in between episodes. The Aussie ones all swap about.
Ah ok, I only watch the Australian ones, can't get into any others. Just making sure I wasn't missing a new one.

Season 8 episode 27 of Aussie Married At First Sight. The episodes sure do drag at the end of every season of this, but the producers masterminding the drama unfolding for Melissa and Bryce is tough to watch. What's even more uncomfortable is that I looked ahead and they remain a couple to this day. She's so passive around him (and I rarely say such things as a bad thing :basil:)

I’ve just finished Joan. Has anyone else watched it? One of the best dramas in a while and Sophie Turner is FANTASTIC playing the lead.

Does anyone know if we are likely to get a season 2? I’m not sure if that is where the real life Joan’s criminal exploits ended?

I haven't, but it's on my list. I forgot what it was called so couldn't find it again.

My mum keeps on at me about Joan. She said it's the best drama she's seen in ages.

The problem is that kind of puts me off.

Tried to watch the Menendez brothers Ryan Murphy thing. First episode was deathly dull and drawn out. Don’t think I can take 10 episodes of this.

Massively enjoyed Nobody Wants This also on Netflix.

Just finished Monsters, the Menendez brothers story. I really enjoyed it but it's left me very confused about what I believe.

So now I'm watching the documentary. I hate documentaries.

Very impressed by Sophie Turner too, I just knew her as one of the Jonas Bros ex wives that was in Game of Thrones. She's really good :disco:

Dexter again from the first season. I don't remember it being this corny and almost Desperate Housewives-ish in tone/production :eyes:

It’s one of those shows I believe works better in weekly format. When I watched it again episode after episode it really showed its flaws.

That reunion for Aussie series 8 of MaFS was probably all artificially inflated with meddling producers, but it certainly was something I don't think the show will ever replicate.

Oh. My. God.

I just seen the "... because I always respected your hairline on television" reel. I think I'll start season 1.

I think that might be it, C4 had a magic formula with the 9pm/10pm slot on weekdays with shows like Desperate Housewives, Dexter, Lost, etc

When you watch it now in a binge fashion it's all a bit ridiculous. Also the woman who plays Rita (Dexter's love interest) is LAUGHABLY BAD :D It feels like she's delivering all her lines as if she's doing a Jennifer Coolidge Snatch Game impression.

On to season 9 of Aussie Married. They really need to run candidates through empathy tests - the exhaustion on poor Holly dealing with that narcissist just shouldn't be happening and tests surely can prevent these people getting through.

I have just realised I have not watched the last season of Killing Eve. I don’t think I was enjoying it much after series 2 though. Is it worth it?
