Oh I do do this. I have a nice extension cable next to me bed with all my chargers/electric blanket/bedside lamp plugged in for EASY ACCESS.

HOWEVER if I'm in a public place (pub, library, church, whatever) I will actively turn them on because I am little shit.

Back when offices were a thing, I used to turn them off then imagine the cleaners cursing me. I would never turn them *on* in public though, I'm not a heathen!

I went on a retreat some years ago and was given ARRANGE TABLES FOR TOMORROW’S BREAKFAST duties along with some other people who simply did not do it properly. I get stressed about mess when I'm meant to be working on something - and then I find it terribly distracting - but generally I'm the complete opposite of most in this thread.

There is a low level of chaos inherent to my existence. I don't care if things are symmetrical, in any particular order, or even put away at all. I never even pair my socks; not even the really easy ones to pair, like brightly coloured ones, or patterned ones with woodland animals on.

Speaking of offices, I used to switch off everyone’s monitors at the end of the day.
