What do you like on your pizza? (3 Viewers)

I splashed out on a Crosta & Mollica Margherita from Sainsbury's last night when it wasn't even on offer.

It was very nice though my stomach was a bit sad this morning. Back to the Dr Oetker gluten free for the forseeable...

There doesn't seem to be a foreign theme this week :(
I've been today and it seems to be the dregs of other weeks

I did get some Polish Jaffa cakes (they will all go tonight if I get on the gin), a 'Greek Island style' orange drink and some fideua that I'll make a fuck off huge paella with tomorrow though, if I can get some nice seafood from the market.

Given that I'm forcing this in a direction of general pizza and totally unrelated tinned tuna chat anyway - you're welcome :disco: - which are our favourite PIZZA BRANDS?

I don't think I have a favourite pizza brand. I tend to buy supermarket own label ones.

It's already been said in the past (:)) but those Lidl frozen pizzas are NASTY. Aftertaste of filth AHOY!

I don’t buy frozen pizza any longer.

Dominos is the best junk-y take out pizza here.

Oh God what on earth are THEY like?

Talk about toppings doing the SLIPPY AND SLIDEY on the standard ones, the base of which is like a quite dry biscuit anyway :(

*eats them anyway obviously*

I would say the base is ACCEPTABLE as these things go. Lactose free(ish) Mozzarella (and Edam!), and those little frozen half cherry tomatoes dropped on top are kind of cute.

I do like a GOODFELLA’S once in a while. It needs to be slathered in coleslaw though.

I didn't buy a supermarket pizza in the last 15 years, probably more, they're all terrible, some of the fresh ones taste of plastic.

What do we think of cauliflower base pizzas?

I think I'd rather die
Cauliflower rice? Yes and yas.
Cauliflower pizza? No and non.
The only non-standard pizza base I find acceptable is sourdough which is not really even that non-standard anymore.

All the supermarket ones trying to be wanky are shit. Go all in on a supermarket own or a Chicago Town

As someone who's been vegetarian in the past for significant periods of time and remains averse to gristle and that sort of muck, I do rather like an ultra-processed sausage. No trace of origin and it might as well be Play-Doh :disco:
It's not like I don't enjoy eating shit from time to time, mind you, a greasy hamburger is a yes, even when I can't remember the last time I had one. Jesus I should leave this healthy Mediterranian diet for one day and succumb to all this terrible stuff you enjoy. :disco:
