love a protein shake but only in the AFTERNOON!!
It depends for me because most of the time when I go to the gym in the morning before work I do my workout fasted and then a protein shake and a couple of pieces of fruit are my breakfast.
Which is a bit miserable I know but needs must and I'm a busy woman [Sabrina Edit].
My favourite 'breakfast' is after Parkrun :disco:

Usually (if I wake up early enough) porridge with blueberries or pomegranate and a bit of demerara sugar or honey, though ages ago I had it with brown sugar, banana and/or raisins. 😊
For a drink usually tea or hot chocolate, used to be with normal semi-skimmed but now have oat milk.

Otherwise toast or cereal (e.g. Weetabix, Shreddies, Bran Flakes, Coco Pops), sometimes eggs, and very occasionally (a few times a year) English breakfast, or muesli with the dried fruit pieces. ✨

Daily, I have:

Double espresso when I wake up, then after the gym:

Clear whey protein “shake” with creatine
A boiled egg
Fruit, protein enriched granola and fat free, plain Skyr.
Oat milk latte

If I’m at home and in need of a dirty treat, cheesy spaghetti hoops and eggs on toast or avocado on toast with fried eggs and sriracha.

(Though I actually think Heinz ones are a bit shit. Often too watery. I like most of the value ones best- Waitrose Essential are the pinnacle, but Tesco’s 16p ones are great!)

3 eggs
2 sourdough toast
1 pack of blueberries with cinnamon, honey and slices of kiwi

1 green tea
1 coffee

I'd worry about needing the loo if I had two drinks before a 90 min commute :shy: I eat breakfast but don't have a drink till I get to work.

When I’m working from home, I pretty much never have breakfast. Just a cup of coffee.

Though when I’m travelling for work, I often have breakfast at the hotel before going to the customer site. That’s usually a croissant/pain au chocolat.

When is your new bauble revealed? Is it a Christmas Day thing?

Nooo…straight up!

One other has arrived. Lovely pack of spaghetti as spaghetti bolognaise is my favourite meal, apparently, Bizarrely ordered separately by Mr Sheena from the hoops one :D

You have a Diana bauble? :D

Oh hold on...they're a set. I HAVE EIGHT :D

A friend's brother moved to the US and met a woman there, now his wife. They came over to the UK with her one Christmas and presented, with serious faces, this box of Diana baubles to said friend as a proper present. She, of course, realised EXACTLY where they would find a good home and left them under my tree without a tag the following Christmas. We took a year to work out who'd given them to us because we always have a big group of friends over just before Christmas.

As you can see from the below, they are ASTONISHINGLY shite and we absolutely ADORE them!

(Not sure what happened in the early 00s camera phone to make them so grainy, but you get the idea!)

Good God at all this talk, especially of fiddly healthy breakfasts and early morning gyms. I have two cups of tea and anything I can find that will go in the toaster, and by then it's 9:30

Overnight oats if I can be arsed to make them the night before. Toast made by Mr L if I haven't been. And coffee.

Mostly ONOs or porridge with banana and PB or berries and LOTS of cinnamon and cardamom. If I'm tired of that I have granola or cereal with milk, or sourdough with PB, banana and honey or jam. On Sundays I like a pastry, banana bread or a cinnamon bun or sourdough with avo and a soft-boiled egg and everything bagel seasoning.

I'm making a fruit syrup at the moment for cocktails, which is basically just macerating a bag of frozen strawberries and raspberries plus a few passion fruit in sugar. After I've drained it tomorrow, the strained fruit is great for overnight oats or just plain yoghurt. Although crazy high in sugar, obviously.

My usual oats are dairy milk, yoghurt, chia seeds, cinnamon and maple syrup.

my parents have a "British store" across the street and they sell these :D

also I like the "I saw that" Jesus ornament

I probably eat breakfast 4 times a week, either a bagel or yogurt and granola or cinnamon sugar toast. I do like eggs a lot but I never feel like making them in the morning

Weetabix. Or if I’m feeling all piggy and HAVE GIVEN UP: Toast.
