What do you order at Nandos?

Oh sometimes I get rice instead of peas

I LOVE Nando’s, even as a veggie. I’m happy to be basic!

I've only been inside one twice. I can't believe how much everyone raves about it - it's like the Ed Sheeran of restaurants!

I don’t really go often enough to know what I can have off the menu. I know there’s plenty of veggie options and I don’t have a problem with eating in a chicken restaurant, but Nando’s isn’t really a restaurant I would think about going to.

This is my absolute go to for a quick meal and I make no apology for it.

Chicken burger with cheese (no tomato)
Spicy rice
Corn on the cob
Halloumi on the side

Every single time.

Chicken liver is always on my order. I love extra hot. Plus new loaded snack box which was recently added. Must check out. And ofcourse Peri Peri Chips with all the meals.

I love the halloumi and chicken pita, and the chips are elite.

But what an absolute rip-off. I know it’s better quality than a chicken shop, but paying the best part of £20 (close to £30 with a side and delivered) for takeaway chicken and chips is just ridiculous.

The shared Meal Platter thing when eating in. Medium with Peri salted chips and 2 smaller sides of spicy rice and coleslaw.

On the very rare occasion I get a takeaway just for me it would be the Spicy Rice Bowl with Medium Chicken.

I've only been once (in late 2017, with family) and I remember we had a couple of bowls of spicy rice, and supposedly hot chicken, might as well have chosen Extra Hot haha. I forgot if there were chips (I only know that KFC chips have definitely improved since :disco:). It came to around £30; though it was nice, we might as well have cooked chicken biriyani to last a few days for half the price. 😅

Agreed. Overated and expensive - but do love their chips.

From now on you can't have more than one glass of any full sugar drink like Coke, so refills must be a diet drink. New Govt nanny state rules,

Yeah there shouldnt be any restrictions on sugary drinks humans should have as much as they want.

I can’t believe people think it’s overpriced! It’s completely reasonable!
I can get a big bowl of chips covered in cheese sauce and topped with peppers and either chicken or kebab meat for a fiver at Foodie Fellas near us...It's a lot too as I could hardly finish it....

We never eat out. Last time was with my late daughter's 6 friends at Harvester, 8 of us, £164 and no starters or desserts. Asked them to re-calculate as couldn't believe it. Wanted a fiver for a pint of lager. Am a tight Yorkshireman. Eating out is a total rip-off.

Ok, that is a bit flippant. I've only been once in the last two decades and my genuine opinion was it was overpriced because it felt like McDonalds quality food with proper restaurant style prices.

My local schwarma house does chicken at much better quality at a fraction of the price.

Really? I can order from about ten other chicken shops near me and get delivered food for about £15 with quite the haul. This would be about £25-£30.

It is slightly better quality, sure, but I’d still class it fast food. Although that probably isn’t the case in the UK perhaps.

In terms of value it has dropped, the size of the portions have shrunk over the years, and I paid something like 7 quid for a pint there last time I went which shocked me

Its one of my go to hangover places, I do still like a CHEEKY Nandos, but its not as good as it used to be. (Back in my day etc)
