I mean hate is extreme but this one annoyed the fuck out of me. The chorus is an empty HUSK. It felt like they were trying to recreate past glories here, which is even more frustrating because it came from an album chock full of pop bangers.

EDIT - My brain was clearly warped by being awake at night because while I did mean that song, I was actually thinking of the second single from "Trip The Light Fantastic" which of course was "Me and My Imagination" - which I like a whole lot more than the one above, BUT I have similar feelings about given what else she had on the shelf. The fact I confused the two sums it up anyway..

My favourite ever artist released a "meditation album " last year and I haven't listened to even 10 seconds of the 11 minute "lead single" but I obviously hate it.



She also has a tendancy to release genuinely awful Christmas covers which she stuck on a handy EP this year



For someone who released one of the best albums of her career in 2020, it's all a bit WEIRD as she's clearly still got the goods in her. She just keeps doing shit no-one has asked for.
