I think of the 2 obvious choices it’s In The Zone but the one album I listen to the most is Femme Fatale

Blackout just edges In The Zone as it has no skips for me.

Blackout was one of the most exhilarating first listens to an album I've ever had. It was like listening to pop's future. It influenced so much of what came after it.

I also love Britney. But it's just a completely different, and simpler, proposition.

I never really listened to Britney beyond the singles before Blackout so I have no real nostalgia for those albums, and the albums since have all been inessential so there's really only one option for me.

In the Zone by some distance. It’s very scattered, sonically, but she did all of it so well. And it could have spawned so many more hits if they (or she) tried.

Circus and Blackout are neck and neck for me but I listen to Circus more. My Baby is awful though.

In The Zone.

14 tracks (counting the bonus) all varying degrees of good to excellent, she sounds great and incredibly engaged and it all just seemed so exciting.

Overall her albums actually are rather good on the whole.

I really had to think about Blackout vs In The Zone. I went for the former, but I feel I MIGHT BE WRONG.

I think by the last two it was getting a bit too robotic (I know the preceding ones were, but there was still some oomph), but there’s still a handful of great tracks on both, I just was less interested.
