I used to wish I had a name which wasn't so time specific and was more of a classic name, and decided I wanted to be called Jordan instead. Of course this was the late 70s/early 80s, before that name proliferated in the US, or at least certainly before I was aware of it being what seemed like a common name there. And I imagined myself another surname as well, and someone on moopy has it.

My paternal grandmother wanted me to be called MOSES, in line with family tradition. Which certainly is more classic than the late 60s to mid 70s one I got.
