I dunno whether it’s a full 180 but I was very anti-Beatles growing up and didn’t care for the Merseybeat sound at all but I’ve grown to love them totally in the last ten years, in fact Abbey Road is one of the best albums I’ve ever heard. Maybe that counts, although I always respected them.

I've mentioned it before but I definitely used to be a "I just happen to like straight acting guys!"/"Just because I'm gay doesn't mean I have to shout about it" kind of queen. I guess it's just growing up, but I'm not THAT girl anymore

Certain famous people I’ve done a 180 on who I dismissed as awful and then grew to really like them.

Russell Brand springs to mind. Although to be fair he used to be on drugs all the time and now he’s not, so it’s not just me that’s changed.

It pains me to admit it, but Keir Starmer is pretty clearly in a terrible rut, and this latest 'queen and country' briefing he's peddling is just MORTIFYING.

We really should have a collective Beatles listen party at some point, it’s an absolute revelation. You have to really be invested though. It’s more about the sheer joy of listening to incredible musicianship and a group of young working class lads who weren’t the best guitarists or singers but when you put the 4 together something magic happens and the songs are just other worldly. Like how did they exist in the 60s, just a few years after Como and Humperdinck was the pop music everyone listened to.

that and the fact that the entire business just idolised them. There isn’t anyone who doesn’t owe them a credit. Prince, Bowie, MJ, Stevie Wonder, Springsteen, Elton, the best of the best and they all worshipped the Beatles.

I’m a 180 on Madonna in current terms too. I still love her music pre-2008, but I honestly couldn’t give a fuck any more. I don’t follow her or know what she’s up to or anything.

After seeing ‘Rocketman’ and ‘Blinded By The Light’ I’ve completely changed my mind on Elton John and Bruce Springsteen. They were always there when I was growing up but dismissed them as my parents type of music. Now I’m hoping to see them live if they can ever tour again.

That would explain it. It's just so monotonous. You start out liking some people but them and their mates are never off screen.
