When are you switching your heating on? (1 Viewer)

It's eight celsius here. The office heating isn't working and I'm wearing a long-sleeve top, a jumper, a long cardigan and a fleece. My feet are numb with cold.

Somebody please send Schnorbitz!
 
Guys let me know when I should put the heating on ok?

This is the earliest I've gone full length trouser in YEARS AND YEARS and I'm quite angry about it. I bought a lovely new pair of Diesel jeans a few weeks back because all my jeans from last year were too big and I wanted to save them for a special occasion debut, but they've had to come out today because I LITERALLY HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO WEAR.

I put some trousers on yesterday to go to a meeting and hated it. HMPH.
 
Suddenly got TOO HOT for my jumper so now I'm back in full summer mode.

It’s forecast to be 23c here next week so that’s nice to know considering I have the heating on this evening :disco:
 
I was so so tempted yesterday, but I find that CLOSING THE DOOR keeps our front room quite warm.
 
My heating was on automatically this morning which I was really pleased about because the bathroom was toasty warm for my shower.
 
My new curtains have definitely improved the temperature in the bedroom. This is a plus.
 
Still in shorts. Its getting warmer next week. Endless summer* woo

I thought the heating had just come on, but luckily it's only the water.

I much prefer being cold, because it's so easily fixable.

When the house is hot, it's either a noisy fan or just feeling miserable.
 
Yeah it's on. I usually wait until October but multiple days with 5°C, rain and snow in the mountains? Sod it.

Like Shee we’re in a top floor residence. Its fairly modern so well insulated and its duplex in an upside down configuration, so our bedrooms are downstairs soaking up all the rising heat from below. It has massive floor to ceiling windows too which capture the sun, so we’ll only really need the heating on in a month or two when its permacold.
 
Our energy bill more than halved moving here, but we were in a draughty old victorian house before.
 
Yes, being south facing with nothing in front of us helps too.

Though it's a CUNT for bleaching your furniture.

Yeah I'm not sure how long our blue sofa will be vividly blue for, and I had some arguments with Ms Ron about the placement of my RARE ART.
