That one street in Coventry is really nice I thought. The rest is scary.

oh yes. I stayed in a hotel on the outside of the ring road and walked into the centre in the dark. Horrible.
Ended up in Pizza Express as nowhere else to go and remember a woman having red wine WITH ICE CUBES IN IT

What an absolute nightmare.

What was your hotel called? I escaped my friend's living room for a night saying I was sick so that I could avoid going to a club and also stayed in a hotel. It was nice enough inside but I walked to Tesco Express that night and didn't enjoy it much.

I think it was the Ramada? Wherever it was much nice than what was outside

I was only there for an afternoon and overnight. I only stopped to go to the School of Art.

To add, what I saw ok, but I really wasn't there long enough. Especially when a big chunk of my experience was navigating Glasgow city centre at night and the coach station. Also tainted by the fires.

I went to a stellar party at the art school before the fires so I had a great stay in Glasgow. well, except for sleeping in a room facing Sauchiehall with a window that didn't close properly...

Oh the Art School was everything I wanted plus more. But that was my sole purpose of visiting Glasgow.
