White goods Wednesday

Bastard. I had literally just come up with an ace thread title and, being Wednesday related, I now have to wait until next week by which time I will have forgotten it.
 
My fridge is green. Only because it was £300 cheaper than the otherwise identical white version.
 
I've just put on the first load in our new washing machine. Will update you later on how it goes!!!!
 
LIVE UPDATE: The spin cycle is really quiet, and the washing machine doesn't wobble across the room. OMG.
 
Ugh I picked a fight with someone on FB last night cos I’m sick of him being all “white men are so oppressed” but it’s about films which I know fuck all about and now I can’t be bothered to carry it on but he’s written an essay
 
My washing machine is white though. I replaced it last year and got one of those with the added HomeCare things...

Ugh I bet you those films don't even intend to highlight how 'white men are so oppressed' but rather the opposite and he's subverting it for his own agenda.
 
I have a mate who has basically quit social media because of these idiots. He called it whataboutism.

You just need to manage your social media more carefully. If you don't want to unfriend people, put them on restricted so they can't see your posts (they won't know this, but they'll just think you are not posting) - you can also unfollow people or snooze them temporarily. I've done this and cleared a lot of shit from my feed.
 
I only commented because I'd had several glasses of wine. I need a BOOZE FILTER. Anyway, he called me an extremist who is just trying to look righteous, and now he's either deleted a ton of posts or put me on restricted.
 
Oh he's definitely restricted me, all I can see now is his public posts and the one thanking a bunch of us for coming out for his birthday. LOLZ

Yes, it’s BLOODY RIFE. I’ve just been out for a walk and the air quality is HORRENDOUS. Now I know how the Londoners feel.
