Oh there have been plenty. Every time I've stumbled on here you've been there to share your moral superiority and make it worse for me.

Honestly that's just me and I'm not sure why I hold your view in such high regard, but I guess if you're going to run everyone has a right to state objections.

I think if I were sum up your worse feature as a mod (personally) I feel like you act as moral police.

If it's any consolation my view isn't worth so much, so good luck, but I really hope you don't succeed. Soz.

We just don't have very much in common and we barely move in the same Moopy circles at all. Doesn't mean I hate you! :D

Ah right, OK. Must be all in my head then. :eyes:

Maybe you just don't have great social skills apart from towards those who you DO like. I just don't see you as a "people person" and all that impartial. I don't hate you either.

I totally understand what Rita means about VoR. He's not evil or anything like that, but like if he doesn't give a shit about anyone outside his cliqué. VoR, you sent me a "personal" pm during lockdown, I think it's the first time we interact on a "personal level" in 6 or 8 years. The fact that you didn't say hi, how are you or anything remotely nice, and started your pm with "so I'm thinking of doing a video like yours and I need your help" was just too much and resumes it all. That's why you won't get my vote, sorry.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Ag and Rita here - if there was ever a situation where the admins had to make any decisions about something I'd said or done on here, I really wouldn't be comfortable with VoR to be impartial given the run-ins we've had and what appears to be the long-standing dislike he has for me. In fact I'd go one further and say that I would seriously consider leaving Moopy if he became an admin.

Dear God.

I know I can be forthright in the politics forum but there is NO long-standing dislike for you.

We've met SEVERAL TIMES and I've always liked you very much, in person and on here, until this past few months when I've noticed this weird passive aggressive campaign you seem to be waging against me. Every time somebody else slags me off, there's the inevitable silent like from you. Bumping literally years old topics and making thinly veiled comments about throwaway jokes I made being 'disappointing but UNSURPRISING'.

But never once have you actually come out and said exactly what it is I'm supposed to have done to you? I've kept my peace and hoped it'd fizzle out, but it's really made things quite uncomfortable for ME, in all honestly, because I truly don't understand where it's coming from? Is it literally just because we have (slightly) different political perspectives? I know I've been forthright, and I've probably even been a bit of a sanctimonious prick from time to time, but to my knowledge I've NEVER taken it personal, whereas what you've been doing feels very personal indeed.

Despite all that, in the unlikely event that you did get drawn into some kind of major scandal, I would 100% put that aside and help you as much as I could, and I'd never act unilaterally without the input of the other admin in any way that could harm you.

I'm actually quite heartbroken that you would seriously consider leaving the forum on a feud that to my mind is entirely one sided.

This one?

So for the Moopyvision Semi finals I was thinking to run them a bit like your Allafestivalens - line up the competing songs in a Youtube video and try to add a voting section at the end for the qualifiers.

I'm not very experienced with video editing though, would you be willing to give me a hand to pull it all together? I just need to know how you did it with your shows in terms of stitching all the videos together and adding extra production techniques.

I promise a fantastic show in return (sometime in 2023 :disco:)

I guess I'm a complete monster.

I’d be more than happy with any of the posters that have put themselves forward so far becoming admin :)

Oh PLEASE.

Just let me know who's VoR biggest competition and I'll vote for him/her. Thanks.

For fairness my only objection to Zen, and I do mean only, is that I still feel he's still too new. For me the admin position is a hard earned role for posters who've paid their dues over several years.

Love that VoR has ignored my response.

Too much of a lost cause to waste time on clearly! :D

I think that SOME people really should’ve voiced their grievances with other posters back at the time rather than letting things fester :eyes:

Honestly, I think the main issue you have with me is that I'm actually willing to call you on your bullshit. There are a lot of posters here who won't bother engaging with you any more when you behave badly, because they know where it leads. I'm not of the opinion that any one poster should be above the greater good of the forum, and there have been many, many times when you've been just that.

Doesn't mean I dislike you personally, or consider myself 'morally superior' to you, whatever that means!

I’ve always thought VoR was a good mod, I appreciated the transparency he provides.

Also if you don’t like someone you can not vote for them, no need to drag them.

I can see this. Though in my defence, what even is time in lockdown? I feel like I've been on Moopy for decades now!

Well maybe you shouldn't have spent so long talking to me like shit? Just about everything you've said to me on here this year has been absolutely dripping with condescension, so forgive me for finally having enough I suppose? I don't want a mod that thinks it's okay to tell posters to fuck off (whether or not there's a follow-up "I'm sorry IF" apology with loads of caveats), and I definitely don't want an admin like that either. That was a bit of a wake-up call for me and it made me look back over a lot of our interactions over the years (including in person), and my main takeaway has been that you generally think I'm an idiot to be humoured. And maybe I am, but it's not a very nice feeling. That's about it, and you can think that it's not a big deal if you want but that's up to you.

True.

By contrast to my own point, lockdown has permanently changed Moopy, I don't fully recognise the place at times! So maybe new blood is needed at the top to keep things fresh.

I think post lockdown Moopy is definitely something that should be considered if we want to maintain what we've gained in the last 12 months.

Again, good luck :)

Thanks :)

The last thing I'll say on this is that as a Mod, I actually take my job of looking out for all of our posters very seriously. Trust me when I say that wading into your dramas is never the high point of my day, but the fact that I put myself in the firing line is precisely because it's a responsibility I think we have when we stand as mods in the first place to stand up for people who might not be used to the kind of aggression you routinely subject them to.

Once again, it's not a personal axe I have to grind against you. You also bring a lot of good qualities to the forum. But it's a dynamic that's been going on for nigh on 15 years now. You can dislike my approach, but I would hope nobody could accuse me of abdicating my responsibilities.

Without getting drawn into anything (genuinely I don't care about the admin role), I must say I have a lot of time and respect for VoR as a mod. Its great that we have new mods with a lot of vim and enthusiasm, but I appreciate his contributions to modding this forum before that enthusiasm came along.

I honestly think you're completely misjudging our interactions. If I thought you were an idiot I wouldn't interact with you at all. But I think this is clearly a lot more personal than the other complaints about me so I'll be taking this one offline.

I'm truly sorry that (not if) I've made you feel this way. It was never intentional.

Et tu, Rita?

I'm not necessarily saying I'll vote for him, but I have no issue with VoR as admin, either.

And I still agree with Ag's comment re Zen, but I will say I'm further along with that concern than I was last time around and I'm definitely not discounting him.

I am entitled to express my opinion like you have just expressed yours, thankyou darling. I felt the need to call VoR out on the fact he IGNORES me. I wasn't dragging him through ANYTHING other thank the shit track he has made for himself.

my main takeaways from all this:

@VoR is a perfectly good mod and seems like a good person. I have no interaction with him like ever aside from the odd political tussle and I can't say he's ever given off a vibe that he wouldn't have my back in case of an issue.

@Alla coming in here to stir shit seems entirely unhelpful and to be honest just reflects pretty badly on you.

anybody with personal beef toward VoR (who knew there were so many?!) because he, uhh, didn't ask for a summary of how your summer was before asking advice on a video... should probably remember that we are discussing who should be admin, not candidates to be your new bff.
