I’m really annoyed reading all this because once again VoR is an easy target to some to whip up drama, and I think sadly that’s because historically VoR has always taken teasing in good humour and shown that he can laugh at himself. Some of you, historically, have shown that you absolutely CANNOT do that. Credit to @Jark The Herald Angels Sing for pointing out exactly what some posters were doing with their knives out here. If you don’t want to vote for a candidate, don’t vote for them.

It should come to no surprise to hear me say that I think VoR is a fantastic moderator and a great person off and online. VoR and I joined this asylum when we were a similar age and have had a genuine friendship since, and I can happily call him one of my closest friends. I have always been impressed by the way that he has diplomatically navigated his way through teasing on here and seen situations from our personal lives with a clear head, helping me to find resolutions and giving advice when I’ve asked for it. VoR is a really witty, kind and intelligent person and he absolutely does not deserve to have his name smeared like this by opportunists.

I think the blowout with COB was a long time coming. I'm not going to say anything more about it publicly, but of all the attacks today it's the one I've taken the most to heart, and I don't think what he posted about me came from a cynical place. I genuinely hurt him, albiet entirely unintentionally. So I don't want him to be tarred with the same brush as the other three.

oh i didn’t mean COB - you two seem more like you’ve fallen into the trap I fall in with my brothers where you argue about politics and then wind each other up and it just never ends :D

I hope none of this is aimed towards me as I have stated my feelings, and was not jumping on any form of bandwagon. I stated why I said what I said, and if it is not aimed at me can you please state the names of the posters you are talking to in future. Thanks.

Well I'm pleased we have more names in the hat and that so many people want Kate to stand (poor thing has been on her back all 2020 :disco:)

Absolutely none of my likes were given at the expense of anyone, just to make that clear, more that I was pleased someone aired their grudge beautifully, defended themselves vulgarly or put kisses on the end of their reply several glasses later.

Yep, I'm pretty much the same. Not in VoR's cliqué but that shouldn't be the reason he should or shouldn't be an admin.

I'd be happily vote for Zen (and Kate?) as well.
