Back in my day you could call a wednesday a wednesday and no body minded 😤

We have a lot of people sick right now for some reason. I hope this isn't the new Covid variant. :(

I've just started SNEEZING. I've simply NOT GOT THE TIME to have a cold.

Typical wokery. It doesn't matter whether you WANT to or not.

BACK IN MY DAY WE GOT UP 2 HOURS BEFORE GOING TO SLEEP TO WALK IN TO TOWN AND WE PAID 6 SHILLINGS FOR THE PLEASURE AND YOU DIDN'T HEAR US COMPLAINING ABOUT IT.

Oh its lurgy season all right. I've been mainlining vitamin D drops for the past couple of weeks to try and avoid getting full KO'd

Same. I take a Vit D supplement all year round and I highly recommend.

I've taken Vit D for a few years now and I've had a horribly unwell year.

I've been off since yesterday with it. It isn't covid (or at least it wasn't on Friday or Sunday when I tested), but it is grim. I went to work on Monday but it wasn't a wise move. I think it's one of those you just need to surrender to and let it work its way out of your system, rather than fighting it.

I do feel more human today than I have since last Thursday though, so fingers crossed it's on the way out.

I'm off sick this week with covid :( It's got me worse than last time I had it, but fingers crossed 4 days in and I seem to be on the up. No doubt it'll hit the rest of the family now though.

It's doing the rounds right enough - turns out one of our absentees does indeed have Covid. Eeep.

My unwanted meeting turned into guinness drinking. Lovely.

For months I've been conditioning the local squirrels to come to the garden by putting water and hazelnuts out in addition to the wild bird treats. There's one particular squiz, Tattytail, who has been getting braver over the last few weeks and he'll sit in the hawthorn tree gobshiting at me when I sit on the doorstep, all the others run away quickly.

I came home from work tonight to a gleeful Mr F who was overjoyed that Tattytail ran along the back fence onto the side fence this morning then proceeded to jump onto the kitchen windowledge, eighteen inches from where Mr F was stood watching, scampered along there then dropped onto the back doorstep and picked one of the hazelnuts up and ate it. I've done all the work and Mr F is getting all of the benefit while I'm at work. It's so unfair!

Goto heaton park they’re so conditioned to humans they’ll climb up onto you unannounced
