Yeah playing some nice football on the break but looking leaky at the back, we need to shore that up or were getting found out
 
The Croatian goalkeeper has been fantastic since letting in the Bellingham goal. Pickford enjoying his rest, bless him.

Thinking of the alternate universe under Southgate where we’d have scored the penalty and done fuck all after.
 
These "hydration breaks" are just an excuse to Americanise the game. We don't want multiple breaks like they have in the NFL thanks!

From the big hitters, Brazil v Morocco and Japan v Netherlands started or ended well but were quite drab at times. The better matches seemed to have been against the lower ranked teams who’ve been playing at 3am in the morning.
 
If I was allowed to bet, I might have had a random punt on England winning 5-2 earlier on.

We should easily be there already!

Well, job done i guess. For 15 minutes at the start of the second half we looked incredible. Generally the second half was better.

In a tournament where Spain, Portugal and Brazil can't buy a win, I'll take it.
 
Very decent start for England. This can only mean that next Tuesday against Ghana will bring the most tedious 0-0 draw ever seen.
