I’m a bit wankered but I think theyve always done this? Both channels respect that its covered free nationally and that they share the divs?

I've never heard a host (Gaby in this case) mention ITV by name...they normally direct you to Radio 5 live for their coverage, no?

I think you should be ok though unless you get thrashed by Brazil? Which, judging by recent performances, isn’t something you should be worried about.
 
It's been a lovely game to watch from a neutral point of view. No dirty play or unnecessary short dick syndrome anger, beautiful men, lovely tactical play, and more importantly GOALS on both sides. Good ones too.
 
Think it’ll be a struggle for Sweden now. Goal difference down to 0 with Japan to play next? Good luck to the IKEA DEVILS.

Famous last words! I'll be thrilled if we get more than just one more game but i'm not banking on it!

Really annoying though as Morocco looked by no means brilliant in that second half but our attacking threat was just non-existent.

Whisper it, but European and South American teams have largely underperformed so far (with a few exceptions)

Is this the year we finally get a finalist from Africa, Asia, or even (and I fucking hope not) North America?
 
I suspect there are enough of the few exceptions that we won't, but I do think one might make the semis.
 
I fucking hope the European sides turn up because as it stands England are playing Portugal in the Round of 32 and then potentially Spain in the Round of 16.

Would love it if someone like Canada/Ivory Coast had a deep run though.

I'm not particularly worried about Portugal if they can only manage third in that group.

(but also the permutations of which 3rd placer we play are SO intricate and depend exactly on which the eight are that it's going to switch a lot over the next week or so)
 
Yes were nothing short of useless in the situation but being a footballer is essentially a job, he should 100% be there
 
If Spain beat Uruguay then Cape Verde only need to draw against Saudi Arabia to finish second :disco:

Would also be good for Scotland as that group would have a third place with 2 points.
 
Apparently BBC pundits can't hold a conversation for more than 15 minutes so they've cut to BBC News channel whilst the delay is on.
 
If the score comes down amount of players who know their own national anthem then it's a small English win.
