Taylor definitely. Although i’d say the dominant characteristic in the women who love Taylor is that they are WHITE. Taylor has a sizeable fanbase of queer women (some of whom are convinced that Taylor herself is a closeted bisexual/lesbian) but straight or gay… they are definitely white.

Beyoncé is a tricky one. I would have said that gay men (esp black gay men) make up a sizeable proportion of her fanbase but what throws me off is that it feels like Renaissance is the first time she has given a proper nod to those fans. I feel like other modern artists with a big LGBT following will lean into it a lot more and acknowledge the support of the community, but I doubt we’ll ever see Beyoncé showing up on Drag Race.
