Two days in the office a week please. I couldn't stomach a full time return to the office.
Thankfully that seems to be the way the wind is blowing at my work

The being done immediately does sound nice. But also I think I just hate driving. Where I work now doesn’t have good public transportation but if I got a job that did, I don’t think I’d mind as muchAlso like having a reason to get out the house, the social interaction with some colleagues, getting to overhear phone conversations, the work canteen...but it's nice some days to log off at 5pm and then not have to waste another hour getting home.
It must be a psychological thing but I am 100% more productive at home as well. At the office I was terrible for procrastinating. Without that feeling of being trapped and watching the clock, I just get my internet browsing out of my system and crack on at my own pace.
Living alone probably helps. Anecdotally it seems to me that people with families or partners have found it much harder to adjust to being stuck under one roof all day.
I feel a lot more effective at home; I don’t get half as much done at work when there’s always a colleague that wants to talk or to have a coffee break.
I always make Mr L's lunch when I'm home, be it day off or if my pattern has changed. And somehow now I've started making his sandwiches/lunch for the two days he's back in the office because I felt guilty thinking he had to do it himself, despite the fact that I never did before and don't take lunch myself.I get really annoyed when I'm working from home that Mr F doesn't make my dinner every day but when I make myself dinner he expects me to make him some too. He gets on my nerves at the best of times but when I'm trying to work it pisses me right off if he just sits and watches telly all day because he can't do any hoovering or cleaning if I'm on the phone with clients and then I get more pissed off because the house isn't getting cleaned, the poor bugger can't win!
) and I'm quite looking forward to meeting them in person!Hybrid would be my preference.
At the moment I'm working from home full time in a job which I've only recently started. I did go into the office a bit at first but nobody else was so i decided to save my energy and money and stay home.
The issue I find with home working all the time is that I find it quite stressful trying to pick up a new role when my only interaction with my colleague is virtual. It feels like a lot more faff picking up the phone to ask silly little questions that you'd usually just turn around and ask the people at your desk - if you know what I mean?
Do you not have an instant messaging service? We use Microsoft Teams for everything now. It's like the golden age of MSN Messenger, minus the drama.

Work IM is THE DEVIL.Do you not have an instant messaging service? We use Microsoft Teams for everything now. It's like the golden age of MSN Messenger, minus the drama.
This is the worst bit in working from home for me, but I suppose they'll keep it for the next decade regardless of the home/office thing.Microsoft Teams for everything now

I have a hard time focusing anywhere. Hybrid for me.Which do you prefer? I like going into work, since I have a hard time focusing at home and I find going to work to be more social. But I know a lot of people feel differently
